1. Go to VET ENTRY -> ESTIMATES.
2. Search for the client by Last Name
or use the right side scroll bar to scroll down the client list until you
find the right client. Click once on the client name to highlight it.
3. Press ESTIMATE button on lower
screen and review, print, or edit the previous estimate.

3. Press NEW ESTIMATE button on
lower screen. You will be asked if you would like add a new
estimate. Answer YES to continue, NO to end this step.
4. The Data Entry For Estimate Screen will
appear requesting input for the procedures, drugs and stock required to
perform all services within this estimate.
5. Starting with the procedure, enter the
CODE if you know it. If you do NOT know the code for the
procedure, press the ? above the code box and scroll down all the
possible procedures until you locate the appropriate one. Click on the
procedure and the code will be entered onto the estimate screen.
Strike the TAB key and it will automatically fill in the description,
quantity, price and subtotal. If more than one procedure is included in this
process continue entering codes and descriptions until all the procedures
are entered.
6. Tab down to the center row of boxes
which indicate the drugs to include in this estimate. If you know the
drug codes, you may begin to fill them in. If not known, click on the
? above the drug code box and scroll down the various drugs until you
locate the correct code. Click on the drug and the code will be
entered. Strike the TAB key and the description and cost will
automatically be filled. The black highlight will be resting on the
quantity field. Fill in the amount of drugs to be used and tab
again to acquire the subtotal calculation. You can continue to enter
additional drugs by following this same process.
7. Tab down to the lower row of boxes that
indicate the stock that may be used for this estimate. Use the same
process as above to fill the code, description, price and quantity fields.
8. Tab down to the description and comment
areas to complete the detailed estimate for services on this pet.
9. From this screen you can now print
the estimate for the client, or add this estimate description to the
STANDARD ESTIMATE area for future copies.
10. When estimate is complete, click OK.
You will be back at estimate screen.
11. Click CLOSE to end the process.
